Purple Lotus was born from Chef Mei Lin's vision to honor her Asian heritage while embracing modern culinary techniques. After training in Tokyo, Paris, and New York, Chef Lin returned to Seattle to create something truly unique.
Our name reflects our philosophy: the lotus flower, a symbol of purity and enlightenment in Asian culture, combined with purple - representing creativity, luxury, and the unexpected. Just as the lotus rises from muddy waters to bloom beautifully, we transform traditional dishes into innovative culinary art.
